The over-use of air is the greatest enemy of the voice and is what causes inflammation and the drying out of the cords. Once inflammation and dryness occurs, we slam more air across the cords repeating a vicious cycle in order to squeeze out the note which leads to hoarseness, loss of good cord closer and even eventually nodes.
This is not something that is down in 6 months. This is how you build this sound safely over time. Telephone Voice Changer This one simply removes high and low frequencies to simulate the effect of your voice being transmitted through a telephone.
Alien Voice Changer This adds a very strange wobbling effect to your voice which make it sound like an alien who has learned how to speak your language, but it struggling - it's an alien accent, if you will.
Wobbling Voice Changer This one is fun : It oscillates your voice between high and low pitches in a way that makes it seem like time isn't flowing consistently - something's gone wrong with reality. Alien Voice Changer This one sounds like a dangerous alien - perhaps one that is part robot or something. It's also a little insect-like.

Anonymous Voice Changer We've all heard the anonymising voice effect before, and this one is similar, except it adds a slight distortion to your voice to make it more on the "hacker" side of things. Dalek Voice Changer This uses a "ring modulator" to simulate the same electronics that were used to generate the Dalek's voice in Doctor Who. You should do try to make your voice sound like the Dalek's when you record the audio, and this effect will do the rest.
Wah-Wah Voice Effect This adds a "wah-wah" effect to your voice. The "wah-wah" effect is often used in certain types of music via the use of a "wah-wah" pedal. New apps are always coming out, so check out the app store to find out what's available. One app, Call Voice Changer, even lets you make calls with your new fake voice. Record your voice on the computer and add effects.
You can use a Digital Audio Workstation D. W on a Windows or Mac. Garageband, ProTools or Ableton can all be used to record and manipulate your voice, then change it. Record yourself saying common or funny phone phrases like, "What do you want? Disguise your voice with background noise. Play music just loud enough so that your voice can be heard over it.
You can use other recorded sounds as well, including traffic noise, white noise and static, or even the sounds of heavy machinery. Another person can help you by making humming noises or other sounds while you are speaking that have the same effect as recorded sounds. Try using different materials for a different effect. Get a cheap voice changer toy. One of the easiest and fastest ways to change your voice is to buy a little megaphone with silly effects to speak through. These toys are usually available at a wide range of prices, and the cost will usually determine the quality. Even the cheap ones help to make your voice sound a lot different. Just stand back from the phone, or you'll blow the other person away.
Method 2. Change the tone of your voice. This will make you sound very different than you normally sound. This can be done by pinching your tongue against the roof of your mouth and talking from the back of your throat. Imagine you have a cold. If you have a higher voice, speak from lower in your throat and your diaphragm to make your voice much lower.
Pretend your voice is coming from deeper in the back of your throat. Change the way you pronounce words. If you start pronouncing the words you use differently, it will sound like someone else is saying them.
It can be a funny way to change up certain words and sound different. Drop the endings of words. Instead of pronouncing it "going" say "goin. Instead of saying "library" say "liber'ry.
